Our project is to create a network of wireless repeaters using the Zigbee protocol. This network will distribute streaming audio from one of the nodes to the rest.
An example usage is Critical Mass. Some bikers put mp3 players hooked up to speakers on their bikes to play music. However, a single set of speakers can't be very loud given the constraints of a bicycle. Using repeaters, one bike could be a source, and the rest could use their repeaters to get the audio data and play it with speakers. This way, an entire group of bicycles could all play the same music easily.
